Questions owners ask.

Is this a walk-out store?

No. Shoppers check themselves out at a self-checkout kiosk, the same way they would at a supermarket. unifyaccess decides who can come in, and gives you eyes on the store while they’re there.

Do shoppers need the app?

Yes, to open the door. They sign up once with a photo of their licence, a selfie and a card. After that, unlocking takes a tap.

What hardware do I need?

A door intercom or controller we can open (we work with 2N), network cameras (we support Axis), a self-checkout kiosk and an always-on PC in the store. We’ll check what you already have during the consultation.

Can I keep my cameras and my POS?

Axis cameras connect directly, with no new recorder needed. For your POS, we connect its sales feed so revenue shows in your dashboard. Tell us which system you use and we’ll confirm.

What’s the difference between Access and Complete?

Access covers the door: verified shoppers, phone entry and a record of every visit. Complete adds everything you need to leave the store unstaffed: live cameras, sales reporting, pictures with every sale and entry, and self-checkout setup.
